Piano Cake  ·  For a piano player's birthday, make a piano cake. Press a 1-inch layer of Cake-Shaping Clay into the back side of the bottom of square pan, and press 1/4-inch layer of clay into the front side of the bottom of the pan. Remove rectangular portions of from the clay in the front side where the black keys should be. Then, form a very thin layer of clay in those openings and smooth them into the adjacent sides, such that the clay covers the entire bottom of the pan. Spray the pan and clay with cooking spray, and pour cake batter such that the batter is about 3/4-inch above the highest portion of the clay. Bake until done, loosen the cake from the sides of the pan, and invert the pan.
